Pilates
Strength, balance, and recovery in one class
Reformer pilates built for rehabilitation, active aging, and athletes. Private, duet, and small-group sessions led by Body Harmonics certified instructors.
The basics
What reformer pilates actually is
The reformer is a sliding carriage pulled by adjustable springs, with straps, foot bars, and platforms built around it. You push, pull, and glide through each movement while the springs either resist you or support you.
That mix of resistance and assistance is what makes reformer work adapt cleanly to any body, any fitness level, any stage of recovery. The supported range of motion means you can load muscles without loading joints, and the slow tempo trains the deep stabilizing muscles that protect your spine, hips, and shoulders.
What you’ll gain
Built for more than strength
A few of the changes most clients notice within the first month.
Low impact
Spring-loaded resistance that works muscle without loading joints. Gentle on hips, knees, and spine.
Core strength
Deep abdominal activation that stabilizes the lower back and carries into everything else you do.
Postural alignment
Targeted work for desk-bound shoulders, forward heads, and the long hours of modern sitting.
Recovery-friendly
Rebuilds strength and range around injury instead of aggravating it. Safe for post-op rehab.
Class formats
Four ways to train
Same reformers, same instructors, same standards. Choose based on how you like to learn.
Group
Up to four clients per class. Individualized cues inside a small, steady group.
Private
One instructor, one client. Fully personalized programming. Best for first-timers and post-injury work.
Duet
You and a partner on side-by-side reformers. Shared attention, lower cost per session.
Jumpboard
Low-impact cardio on the reformer. Power and plyometrics without the pounding.
